En la nueva actualizaci\u00f3n de esta clasificaci\u00f3n, la blanquirroja aparece entre los 20 primeros equipos de la lista.<\/p>\n<p>Ya luego de la \u00faltima fecha doble de las Eliminatorias Rusia 2018, el estadista Alexis Mart\u00edn-Tamayo, m\u00e1s conocido como MisterChip, hab\u00eda adelantado la noticia. Hoy la FIFA lo confirm\u00f3: Per\u00fa se ubica en el puesto 19 del r\u00e1nking con 965 puntos.<\/p>\n<p>La goleada hist\u00f3rica ante Paraguay en Asunci\u00f3n (4-1) y la derrota contra Brasil en Lima (2-0), hicieron que la selecci\u00f3n peruana mejore cuatro posiciones y supere a pa\u00edses como Holanda o Ecuador, tercero de las Eliminatorias. <br \/>\nEsta no es la primera vez que Per\u00fa se ubica en la ubicaci\u00f3n 19 del r\u00e1nking FIFA. En el 2013, cuando la blanquirroja era dirigida por Sergio Markari\u00e1n, tambi\u00e9n alcanz\u00f3 esta hist\u00f3rica posici\u00f3n. <\/p>\n<p>Con respecto a las dem\u00e1s ubicaciones, Argentina sigue liderando el r\u00e1nking FIFA con 1634 puntos, seguido por Brasil (1544), Alemania (1433), Chile (1404) y B\u00e9lgica (1368).
